Morning light . . .

As I passed through on the way to the kitchen, I was greeted by a light . . .

see how the window sill seems to glow as though a light were shining on it?!

Here is what it was . . .

It was the sunlight filtering through a beautifully coloured maple tree. I had to crane my neck up to see it, and I'm so glad I did.
